Instructions for installing GOES Twinspin™
click for PDF version

The GOES TwinSpin™ is placed at the same point (and replaces) the Pattern Holder, which is normally supplied with the unit. This is located at the “gate” where the beam of light crosses in front of the reflector and lamp assembly.
- Remove the Pattern Holder supplied with light fixture. There are two captive threaded nuts at the top which have to be unscrewed to remove.

Place between suppport rods |
Insert the TwinSpin™ (Indexing or Non-Indexing model). Place the TwinSpin™ in place between the two support rods, first turning it parallel to the rods so that you can bring it down to the bottom and then turn it, so that the notched area fits between the two support rods (turning the drive motor forward towards the lenses).
- Secure in place with captive threaded nuts. Be sure to first place the bottom of the TwinSpin™ over the positioning
pins mounted at the bottom of the luminere. (Pins go through the slots to secure it at the base.)
- Once it has been locked in place, you may thread the control
and power cable back to the dual power supply mounted
at the back of the fixture. (See separate instructions for installing and operating Dual Power Supply.)
- Plug the four pin connector marked “Rotator Motor” into the connector on the dual power supply marked “Motor Rotator”.
 |
Rotate TwinSpin™ so notch area is between support rods |
If you have an Indexing TwinSpin™ there will be a second
connector marked “Rotator Detector”. Plug the four pin
connector into the connector on the dual power supply marked “Detector Rotator.”
- The TwinSpin™ is now installed and provided you have
installed the dual power supply, you are ready to go.
- If you have an Indexing or Non-Indexing TwinSpin™, see the separate instructions for your operating choices.
