GOES DUAL POWER SUPPLY DMX CONTROL
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS |
The Dual Power Supply Box (TSPS-120 or TSPS-230) will be mounted inside the GOES unit on the rear wall
(internally). To install, first remove lid cover from the GOES unit for access. You will notice four mounting bolts
internally on the rear wall of the GOES unit. The Dual Power Supply box will be mounted using these four
bolts.
- Remove cover plate from Dual Power Supply box by unscrewing four screws at the corners of the box.
Cover plate will come off and it will also include all of the circuit board electronics mounted to it. You now
have the shell of the box separate, and you will see four mounting holes.
- Slip the box into the rear wall of the GOES unit, and use the same four bolts to mount the shell of the box.
- After the box shell has been mounted, replace the cover plate with the
electronics using the same four screws that came with the Dual Power
Supply box.

- Power Supply Transformer, 15VDC – 1 Amp. Connect 15VDC Options:
OPTION A
The Power Supply Transformer (packaged separately) needs to be connected to the face plate terminals
on the Dual Power Supply. Connect one wire to the terminal marked “V+” and second wire to the terminal
marked “OV.” Be sure to connect the correct polarity. Plug the Power Supply Transformer into the outlet
internally mounted in the GOES unit.
OPTION B
If you have elected to provide external 15VDC (Maximum 24 Volt) distributed in the DMX Cable: Connect the
positive 15VDC wired to the V+ terminal and connection the negative wire to terminal marked “0V.” Be sure
to connect the correct polarity.
- LED INDICATOR LIGHTS.

Red light on indicates power on to Dual Power Supply.
Green light serves several functions:
1. Green light signals the presence of DMX signal.
2. Indexing TwinSpin™. Green light flashes fast when
the position of the rotator is not being picked up.
3. Non-Indexing TwinSpin™.
Green light will flash fast if there is DMX.
Green light will not light if DMX is not present.
You are now ready to connect additional accessories, such as
the Indexing TwinSpin™ and Dowser. (see separate instructions)
- There are two more screw terminals on the connection block marked “DMX +” and “DMX –.” = These
terminals are for bringing your DMX signal to the Dual Power Supply. Along with the DMX shield which
connects to the 0V terminal.
- If you are using an Indexing TwinSpin™, you will see two connections marked “Rotator Motor” (4-pin)
and “Rotator Detector (4-pin).” Connect the Indexing TwinSpin™ after it is mounted inside your unit to these
marked connector terminals (see separate instructions for mounting TwinSpin™). For operating instructions of
the Indexing TwinSpin™, please see separate instructions. The four ten-digit switches are for mode and channel
selection. Please see the many possibilities of operation in the separate Instruction Manual.
- In addition to the TwinSpin™, you may have other accessories such as the Dowser, which needs to connect
to the 4-pin terminal marked “Dowser,” after you have mounted the Dowser in your GOES unit
(see separate instructions).
